Kerala MSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2014 Admit Card

Download Admit Card of Kerala MSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2014: The Admit cards for candidates appearing for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate (PG) Nursing Courses 2014 (MSc Nursing) in Kerala to be held at Thiruvananthapuram on 17.08.2014 (Sunday) is now provided online.

The candidates who have applied for the Entrance Examination for Admission to M.Sc Nursing Courses 2014-15 scheduled on 17.08.2014 (Sunday) at Thiruvananthapuram can download their Admit cards from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 12.08.2014, 10 am. The candidates have to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth on the specified page of the website and click the ‘Get Admit Card’ link to download their Admit Cards. This Admit Card should be taken to the Examination Hall. Admit cards will not be sent to candidates by post.

The Admit Cards of certain candidates are withheld due to some defects in their applications, which will be shown on the screen while trying to download the Admit Card. Formats for rectifying such defects are also available on the website. Such candidates are required to rectify the defects by submitting the relevant documents to this office before 5.00 pm on 14.08.2014 by hand/ speed post/ registered post. The list of candidates showing their addresses and application numbers is also available on the website.

MG University PG Admission 2014

Mahatma Gandhi University PG Admission 2014 (PGCAP-2014): Applications are invited for admission to the Post Graduate Degree Programmes conducted in the affiliated Arts & Science Colleges / Constituent Colleges of Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2014-15 except PG programmes under the faculty of Fine Arts through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).

CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS (CAP)


Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for Post Graduate admission was introduced by Mahatma Gandhi University in 2010. The new admission system CAP has succeeded in democratizing the admission procedure by ensuring transparency and social justice in it. There is only a single application form for applying for admission to all the PG Degree Programmes in various affiliated colleges for considering them in the Open/Reservation Quota except sports quota/cultural quota/Lakshdweep quota and Persons with Disabilities (PD) quota. If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The candidates seeking admission through community merit/management quota/ sports quota/cultural quota/Lakshadweep quota/NRI/Staff quota and PD quota should submit separate applications to the respective colleges also. The above candidates should also apply under the Centralized Allotment Process, if they are to be considered for general allotment.

Details of seats that come under the ambit of Centralized Allotment Process (CAP):

1. Govt. Colleges: Total seats available in government colleges except seats under sports/cultural/PD Quota.
2. Aided Colleges: Open quota seats, seats earmarked for SC/ST candidates.
3. Unaided Colleges/ Unaided programmes conducted in Aided Colleges: 50% of the total seats including
seats reserved for SC/ST/SEBC.
4. School of Technology and Applied Science directly controlled by the University: 90% of the total seats including seats reserved for SC/ST.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

1. Candidates should have passed the corresponding Degree Examination under the 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with one core/main subject and two complementary/subsidiary subjects from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent thereto for admission, subject to the stipulation regarding marks.
OR
2. Candidates who have passed Degree examination with Double or Triple main subject +or candidates who have passed the Degree Examination in Vocational or Specialized Programmes are also eligible for admission. However, they have to submit copy of the Equivalency/Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, stating that, their Qualifying Examination is recognized for seeking admission to the relevant P.G. Degree Course(s) as applicable, at the time of admission. This provision is not applicable in the case of those applicants who have passed their qualifying examination from MG University.

APPLICATION FEE

The application fee will be as follows:
For General candidates: Rs. 500/-
For SC/ST candidates: Rs. 250/-

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS


Submission of application i.e. registration of personal and academic data as well as options for programmes and colleges shall be done online. Before submitting the application form, candidates are advised to verify the details of programmes in a college including hostel facilities through the website of individual colleges, in addition to the information given in the prospectus published by the University. Before selecting a programme the applicant shall satisfy himself/herself that he/she possess the prescribed qualification for applying for the programme.

Steps for Online Registration

1. For online registration of personal and academic data, the candidates must visit the web site, www.mgu.ac.in and click on the link “PG CAP 2014”.
2. Follow the online instructions and fill in the personal details in the relevant fields provided.
3. Create a ‘Password’ of minimum six characters length. (The password is mandatory for all future online operations). The password created by the candidate should not be disclosed. This may result in tampering with the options and the University will not be responsible for any such eventuality.
4. Generate a Chalan print out. The Chalan bears an ‘Application number’. The application number will have to be used by the candidate for all future online and offline operations.
5. Approach the nearest designated SBT branch enlisted in the CAP portal along with the Chalan print out and remit the required fee.
6. After remitting the fee, collect the chalan copies from bank (Student copy and University copy). Only after completing this step, will the Application Number and password get activated. Activation may take a few hours.
7. Go to the login Panel in MGU PG CAP Web Portal and Use the activated Application Number as user name and the previously used password for Login.
8. Fill in the Application form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly.
9. Verify with the relevant documents and confirm the details entered online.
10. After satisfying himself/herself that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall press the Final Submission Button.
11. Take the print out of filled up application for future reference. The applicant can check the print out and make corrections/modifications if any, at the time of trial allotment.

The applicant can check his/her application status online using their User id (application number) and password at any stage after online registration. Hardcopies of the filled in application shall not be sent to the University.

B.Sc. Nursing Third Allotment Result 2014

Third Allotment Result of Kerala B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. MLT, B.Sc. Optometry, B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P and B.C.V.T Admission 2014 published. Third Allotment Results for Admission to Professional Degree Courses 2014 in Nursing and Para Medical Streams published yesterday. The allotment of a candidate can be seen in the Home page of the candidate, after sign in here http://lbscentre.in/param/frmLogin.aspx?change=0. It will show the College & Course to which the candidate is allotted. The Provisional Allotment memo can be printed by clicking ‘Print Provisional Allotment memo’ button. The memo will show the personal details, the college and the course to which the candidate is allotted to and the fee to be remitted.

Those who get an allotment should take the Printout of the Allotment Memo and remit the prescribed fee to the account of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology in any one of the branches of Federal Bank on or before 04-08-2014, failing which they will lose their current allotment as well as the eligibility for further allotments except for spot Allotment. On remitting the fee, a fee receipt will be issued by the bank to the candidate, which shall be produced in the college at the time of admission.


SC/ST/OEC candidates, who get allotment in Government seats, shall remit a token amount of Rs. 100/- (as part of Caution Deposit) by cash. The date for Reporting Colleges will be announced later. If a candidate has a different allotment than the one accepted in the previous allotment, the fee for which is higher than that remitted as per the previous allotment, he/she will have to remit the difference in fee through the same method as prescribed above. The amount to be remitted in this manner will be shown in the Allotment Memo of the candidate. If the Fee/Difference in Fees is not remitted he/she will lose the new allotment. He/she will not be considered for any further allotments in any stream except for spot allotments, if any conducted.

Spot Allotment to fill Community quota seats in Christian Management Institutions will be conducted at LBS District Facilitation Centres at 10 AM on 02/08/2014. Candidates should bring community certificates to attend the spot allotment. Candidates can also attend the spot allotment through an authorized representative with the prescribed authorization form. Those who get spot allotment should remit the prescribed fee in the Venue itself.

Kerala Plus One Textbooks 2014 - Free Download

Kerala Higher Secondary Plus One (+1) Textbooks for the Academic Year 2014-15. You can download the new revised SCERT, Kerala plus one Textbooks (Chapter wise) from the Website www.scert.kerala.gov.in. State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala availed this facility this week. You can now download Chapter-1 and Chapter-2 of all Plus One textbooks in PDF file for free. Remaining chapters will be available soon. Plus one standard have total 57 books in different categories. Some of them are optional.

About SCERT, Kerala

SCERT, Kerala functions as an R&D institute at the state level by providing guidance, support and assistance to the State Education Department in its endeavor to improve the quality of elementary and secondary education and teacher education. Second Allotment Result of B.Sc. Nursing, B. Pharm, B.Sc. MLT, B.P.T, Pharm.D and B.Sc. Optometry Admission 2014 will be published on 25-07-2014. Second Allotment Results for Admission to Professional Degree Courses 2014 in Nursing, Pharmacy and Para Medical Streams will be published today. The allotment of a candidate can be seen in the Home page of the candidate. It will show the College & Course to which the candidate is allotted. The Provisional Allotment memo can be printed by clicking ‘Print Provisional Allotment memo’ button. The memo will show the personal details, the college and the course to which the candidate is allotted to and the fee to be remitted. This Memo has to be produced in the bank for remitting the required fee.

Second Allotment Result will be published on 25-07-2014 afternoon. Course/College options can be Re arranged for Third allotment till 12 Noon of 29-07-2014. Those who get an allotment should take the Printout of the Allotment Memo and remit the prescribed fee to the account of the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology in any one of the branches of Federal Bank on 26th or 29th July 2014, failing which they will lose their current allotment as well as the eligibility for further allotments except for spot Allotment. On remitting the fee, a fee receipt will be issued by the bank to the candidate, which shall be produced in the college at the time of admission. SC/ST/OEC candidates, who get allotment in Government seats, shall remit a token amount of Rs. 100/- (as part of Caution Deposit) by cash. The date for Reporting Colleges will be announced later. The candidates who got allotment need not report at any of the colleges now.

If a candidate has a different allotment than the one accepted in the previous allotment, the fee for which is higher than that remitted as per the previous allotment, he/she will have to remit the difference in fee through the same method as prescribed above. Deletion/re-arrangement of options after the Second Allotment

Candidates who remit the fee as per the second allotment within the prescribed time limit will have the facility to Delete/re-arrange their higher college options for the third allotment. After the second allotment, the options below the ‘allotted one’ of the candidate will automatically be removed from the option list of the candidate. If a candidate is satisfied with an allotment and does not want to be considered for further allotments, he/she must delete all the remaining higher options. A candidate retaining all or any of his/her higher options after an allotment are bound to accept the new allotment, if any granted. In such cases, he/she will not be permitted to retain the earlier allotment if any under any circumstances.

Kerala Plus One Supplementary Allotment Results 2014

Kerala Higher Secondary Plus One (+1) first Supplementary Allotment results for 2014-2015 admission are published. Students can check their Supplementary Allotment results at higher secondary HSCAP admission portal at http://hscap.kerala.gov.in. Admissions on 25th, 29th & 30th July 2014.

First supplementary allotment result published today. Based on this supplementary allotment list students can take permanent admission to higher secondary schools till 30th July. The number of vacancies available in various schools can be checked from the website. Check vacancy for supplementary allotment here: http://hscap.kerala.gov.in/CMS/vacancy.php. Applicants will be allotted to those vacancies as per the supplementary allotment result. Kerala Plus One Classes were started on 14/07/2014.

Recently Kerala government has allotted 699 new Plus Two batches and 379 additional Plus Two batches have been approved in the existing higher secondary schools. 131 Plus Two schools were sanctioned in Panchayats with no higher secondary schools.

MG University Degree [UG CAP 2014] Second Allotment

Second Allotment result of MG University Degree Admission (UG CAP 2014) published today [20-07-2014] at www.cap.mgu.ac.in. Applicants can check their second allotment results through this official website. Candidates can now download chalan and Allotment memo.

Those who got allotment need to register by remitting a registration fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST) through the designated branches of SBT to ensure admission. For remitting the fee candidates must visit the website and take a print out of the allotment result along with the payment chalan. Last date for fee remittance and admission to colleges is 22/07/2014. Once the initial registration is made, candidate shall note down their application number. Candidates need to check their allotment result through the official website only and no memo will be sent to them by post. For any assistance candidates can contact university in the following numbers: 0481-6060014, 6065004, 2732282.


All students who get allotment should report for admission at the college concerned after remitting the requisite fee in the bank. Classes will begin on 23rd July 2014.

Instruction to Candidates

All the candidates included in the Select Lists are instructed to appear for the Admission Counselling conducting at the Assembly Hall of the University. The Counselling will be completed in 4 sessions (2 session on each day). It is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd July 2014.



If a candidate fails to appear for the Counselling in time, a waitlisted candidate will be given allotment in his/her place and the former will not have any further claim for admission. Waitlisted candidates will get allotment only if the candidates in the main list do not report. The candidates will have to produce all the original certificates and marklists of qualifying degree, if results are announced in proof of their eligibility. Only those SEBC candidates (Ezhava (EZ), Muslim (MU), LC, OBC, Hindu(OBH), and OBC Christian(OBX)) whose annual family income is below 6 lakhs are eligible for reservation. Such candidates should furnish both Caste Certificate and Income Certificate at the time of Counselling. However SC/ST candidates need furnish only Caste Certificate.

The candidates should produce the following documents in original at the time of counselling.
  1. Certificate to prove date of birth.
  2. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
  3. Mark lists of Qualifying Degree examination and Provisional/Degree Certificate (if results are announced).
  4. Equivalency Certificate for the Qualifying Examination, if applicable.
  5. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  6. Caste and Income Certificate, if applicable.
  7. Any other documents required to be produced.

KEAM 2014 Second Allotment Started

CEE Kerala KEAM 2014 Second Allotment activities for the admission to Kerala Engineering, Medical & Architecture courses 2014 under KEAM has started on 15-07-2014. The activities related to the second phase of allotment for admission to Professional Degree Courses 2014 began today. The candidates can rearrange or delete their higher options and also register fresh options to newly added Colleges/Courses from 15.07.2014 to 17.07.2014, 5 pm, through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. On the basis of options received up to 5 pm on 17.07.2014, the second allotment will be published on 19.07.2014. Candidates who get allotment shall take a printout of their allotment memo and remit the fees/ balance fees payable to the CEE, in one of the designated branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on 21.07.2014 or 22.07.2014. The list of designated branches of SBT is available on the website. The detailed schedule for the second phase of allotment is furnished below.

Important Dates

  • Website opens for enabling re-arrangement / deletion of higher options and registration of fresh options to newly added Colleges/Courses on: 15/07/2014.
  • Time for re-arrangement/deletion /addition of option ends on: 17.07.2014 5pm.
    Publication of Second Phase Allotment on: 19.07.2014.
  • Candidates who have received allotment should remit the fees /balance fees payable in SBT on: 21.07.2014 & 22.07.2014.


Second phase allotment will be made to all courses except MBBS/BDS courses. The Candidates who have been allotted to courses other than MBBS/BDS and who want to cancel their allotments received in the 1st phase of allotment can make use of the “Proforma for Cancellation of Allotment” available in the website www.cee-kerala.org. Such students should take a printout of the proforma, fill up the proforma, paste a photograph in the space provided and get it attested by a Govt. Gazetted Officer. After completing this procedure, the candidate himself/herself should produce the filled up proforma at the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations before 5 pm on 17.07.2014. Students who cancel their allotments will be removed from the online allotment process for the existing colleges/courses.

Kerala Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) Third Allotment will be published on 15-07-2014. Third allotment result of Kerala VHSE Admission 2014-2015 will be published at  www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in. Allotted students should take admission in the allotted school within the stipulated time. Students can check their allotment results/status through the official website of VHSCAP at www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in. Kannur University B.Ed Admission 2014-15

Kannur University invited Applications from eligible candidates for admission to B.Ed courses 2014 at the Department of Teacher Education, Kannur University at Kannur, Kasargod and Mananthavady for the academic year 2014-15.

About Kannur University

Kannur University was established by the Act 22 of 1996 of Kerala Legislative Assembly. Kannur University is unique in the sense that it is a multi-campus university with campuses spread over at various locations under its jurisdiction.

The B.Ed course will follow the general rules prescribed for the B.Ed course by the University with respect to academic standards for admission, course of study, scheme of examination, instructional hours and the practice teaching requirements.

Course Name: B.Ed


Educational Qualification: Aspirants should have passed any of the following B.A. or B.Com or B.Sc from a recognized university or college. If the aspirant has passed his or her degree from any board which is outside Kerala is required to submit an Eligibility Certificate stating the recognition of the passed out university college or board.

Marks Required: Candidate should have secured at least 50 % of arks in the last exam.
No marks limit is required for candidate belonging to SC/ST. They are required just to pass the passing criteria of the university.
For Optional Language:
English:
Aspirants should be BA passed with English (Communicative English or Language & Literature or Functional English) with 50% marks in it. The required marks in PG (post graduate) degree is 50% marks
Malayalam:
Aspirants should be B.A passed with Malayalam (Communicative Malayalam or Language & Literature or Functional Malayalam) with 50% marks in it. The required marks in PG (post graduate) degree is 50% marks.
Hindi:
Aspirants should be B.A passed with Hindi (Communicative Hindi or Language & Literature or Functional Hindi) with 50% marks in it. The required marks in PG (post graduate) degree is 50% marks.
Arabic:
Aspirants should be B.A passed with Hindi (Communicative Hindi or Language & Literature or Functional Hindi) with 50% marks in it. The required marks in PG (post graduate) degree is 50% marks.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their previous degrees & examinations. Those who have done graduation from Kannur University itself, to them an additional 5 points will be awarded.

MG University CAT 2014 Entrance Exam Result

MG University will publish the Exam Result of Common Admission Test (MGU CAT 2014) tomorrow (on 14th July 2014). CAT 2014 Entrance Examination result will be available at the official website www.cat.mgu.ac.in. We will update the status here after the announcement of result. Mahatma Gandhi University conducted a national level Common Admission Test (CAT) exam on 28th and 29th June 2014 for admission to various PG Programs for the academic year 2014-15. The admissions will be through a Centralized allotment Process.

Visit www.cat.mgu.ac.in and navigate to Login page and Login by entering Your Application Number and Password there to get the result of Mahatma Gandhi University CAT 2014 Entrance Exam.

Kerala University Degree Admission 2014 Supplementary Allotment

Kerala University Degree Admission 2014 Supplementary Allotment. Kerala University published the Supplementary Allotment result for Admission to UG Degree courses 2014 in the affiliated colleges under University of Kerala in the admission website. Applicants can check their allotment status after logging into the website www.admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in, using Application Number and password. Candidates who have got allotment, download admission fee remittance chalan and remit the admission fee in any SBT branch.

Admission fee for general category is Rs. 1360 and for SC/ST category is Rs. 600. After remitting the fee, applicants should login to the website and enter the details of admission fee remittance to confirm their seat.

Candidates can Login to their homepage in the website using their application number and password for downloading the memo. Using the link ‘Allotment’ the applicant can view his/her allotment details. Calicut University Third Allotment 2014

Calicut University Degree Admission CAP 2014 Third Allotment Results published at www.cuonline.ac.in. Calicut University Third Allotment result of Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2014 for Admission to Under Graduate Programmes in Calicut University published at www.cuonline.ac.in. There will be 5 allotments under CAP. Three allotments will be completed before the commencement of Classes (16/07/2014) for the academic year 2014-2015.

University of Calicut introduces Centralized Admission Process for admission to Under Graduate programmes in its affiliated colleges from the academic year 2014-2015. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) offers facility for online submission of single application for admission to various degree programmes in multiple colleges affiliated to the University. CAP helps students to submit applications to affiliated colleges of their choice through simple online steps.



Those who received allotment should pay the mandatory fee to confirm the present allotment on or before 14th July. Those who received the allotment to their first option will automatically loose their all other lower options. Hence they should compulsorily remit the mandatory fee to confirm their allotment. Those who received the allotment to option other than their first option should remit the mandatory fee and if desires can wait for allotments to higher options.

Mandatory fee

1) For General Category Rs 230/- as given below
Sports affiliation fee: Rs.100/-
Matriculation fee: Rs.80/-
University Union fee: Rs.50/-

2) For SC/ST
Matriculation fee: Rs.80/-

The candidates can login and rearrange the priority of their option after each allotment. The candidates accepting their allotment and satisfied with the current allotment can join the respective college to which allotted on 14th or 15th July.

Cancellation of Option/Rearrangement of Options Priority

Candidates can login into CAP from the home page and edit/modify or delete the options submitted earlier within the prescribed time. All the candidates who get allotment should report for admission at the college concerned after remitting the fee.

If the candidate is satisfied with the current allotment and does not want to be considered for further allotments, candidate must cancel all the remaining higher options. Candidates retaining all or any one of his/her higher options after an allotment are bound to accept the next allotment. Failing to do this will result in losing previous allotment as well as the new allotments.

Kerala MSc Nursing Admission 2014

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) 2014 in the Nursing Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Trissur, Alappuzha and Kozhikode and Govt. Seats in Self Financing colleges.

Eligibility for Admission:

Nativity: Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
Experience: Candidate should have completed one year of experience in any hospital with an average strength of 100 inpatients or in a School of Nursing or in a Community Health Nursing Programme or internship/Compulsory Nursing Service after registration with the Kerala Nursing Council on the date of notification of inviting application ie. on 02.07.2014.
Age: The upper age limit for General candidates shall be 46 years and that for Service candidates will be 49 years as on the date of notification of inviting application. (i.e. 02.07.2014).

Selection and Entrance Examination:

All Candidates including Service Quota candidates shall have to appear for the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram on 03.08.2014 (Sunday) The Entrance examination will be of 3 hours duration(10.00 am – 1.00 pm) with 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will publish the rank lists based on the marks in the Entrance Examination.

Application Forms:

Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 02.07.2014 to 14.07.2014, 3pm in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The Online Application procedure is common for General Quota and Service Quota candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out .Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee is Rs.1000/- for General/Service Quota candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates.

Plus One Second Allotment Results 2014

Kerala Higher Secondary plus one second allotment results 2014 published. DHSE Plus One second allotment results for admission 2014-2015 are published now at www.hscap.kerala.gov.in. Admissions on 9th, 10th & 11th July 2014. More than 4 Lakh students applied for admission in plus one courses this year, the trial allotment list published on 24th June, 2014 and the first allotment results published on 30th June 2014.

Students can check their Plus One Second Allotment results through the official website of HSCAP at www.hscap.kerala.gov.in by giving their Application Number, Date of Birth [Day, Month and Year format] and the District. The second allotment made on the basis of the rearrangement of options by the candidate. There will be two allotments in the main allotment process, after these allotments DHSE will conduct supplementary allotments for the vacant seats. Details of the vacant seats will be published on the admission website.


All students who get allotment/admission should remit the fees and take the admission at the schools concerned within the stipulated time. Submit the originals of the certificates while taking admission. Those who fail to do this will lose their allotment and further claim for admission by these applicants will not be entertained. Classes will begin on 14th July 2014.
